Whole School Worship – Christian Values

Posted by admin in News

This morning in Whole School Worship we shared our Christian Values.

Mrs Hoban used a pencil case to represent all of our Christian Values.

Thankfulness is represented by the coloured pencils. We are thankful for all of the different colours that we have in the world.

Peace is represented by the pencil. Mrs Hoban chose a pencil because with a pencil you can sit down and draw or write and take yourself on a peaceful adventure to wherever you want to go with your writing or drawing.

Compassion is represented by the elastic band because the elastic band holds everything together. Love and compassion hold everything together in the world.

Forgiveness is represented by the rubber. The rubber rubs out mistakes like our sins can be washed away when we are forgiven.

Trust is represented by the pencil sharpener. We trust the pencil sharpener not to hurt us because it has been made with care.

Friendship is represented by the glue stick. The glue sticks things together like friends stick together and look after each other.

Great work children!
