Children, your singing is AMAZING!

All of the teachers loved the way you sang our hymn this morning and Mrs Hoban was very impressed. The Y6 Prefects are doing a fantastic job working with their year groups as well.

After our beautiful hymn, we talked about the woodcutter and the and the hunters and how the woodcutter saved the rabbit from the hunters.

The woodcutter and his wife were granted 3 wishes by a Fairy Godmother for their kindness.

However, the woodcutter and his wife couldn’t agree on their wishes and they ended up in a right pickle! In fact, the woodcutter and his wife only ended up with a sausage for their dinner after wasting their wishes.

I wonder what we can learn from this story?

The children came up with some brilliant answers: think before you speak; be kind to each other; remember what is important in your life.
