WIGAN ST ANDREW’S CE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Dear Parents/Carers,

We hope you have had as good a Christmas and New Year as possible under the circumstances.

School will re-open tomorrow (5th January) as planned, pending any government updates.  However, we currently have no heating.  Please check our website for any further updates regarding this.

To continue our good work, please remember the importance of social distancing outside school during pick up and drop off.  It is vitally important to protect our community to stop the spread of COVID. Also could you please ensure that you arrive no more than 5 minutes before your child’s bubble opens, and please could you leave the front of school as soon as possible after dropping off and picking up.

We will continue to keep your children as safe as possible in school with your continued support.

Please can we remind you of a few important points:

  • Long hair must be tied back at all times
  • Items not to be brought in from home
  • Clean uniform every day
  • If you need to speak to a member of staff, please email or telephone to minimise people congregating in the main entrance.

If your child is unwell could you continue to follow our guidance and keep them at home, and get a test if they are showing any symptoms.

Kind Regards,

St Andrew’s Staff
