GENERAL ELECTION – SCHOOL CLOSURE
School will be closed on Thursday 12th December as we are to be used as a polling station for the General Election.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY
Please join us for our Remembrance Service at St Andrew’s Church at 10am on Sunday, with the Act of Remembrance from 10.45am.
There will be a poppy display outside church. The poppies have been made out of plastic bottle bottoms and coloured in by Andy’s Kids, Brownies and Guides. There will be 103 poppies, one for each name that will be read out during the Act of Remembrance.
Please try and be with us for this special and very important service.

ODD SOCKS DAY – TUESDAY 12th NOVEMBER
This Anti-Bullying Week we are holding ‘Odd Socks Day’ on Tuesday 12th November. All the children have to do is wear a pair of odd socks to school on the day (children will still wear their school uniform as normal) to help raise awareness of anti-bullying It is an opportunity for the children to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique.

CHILDREN IN NEED – FRIDAY 15th NOVEMBER
In support of Children in Need on Friday 15th November, children can come to school wearing something colourful and/or spotty and bring a donation. Many thanks.

NASAL FLU VACCINATIONS – WEDNESDAY 27th NOVEMBER 2019
The nasal flu process this year can be consented online via a link which has been sent out by email. Please look out for the email link (check junk folders also just in case). If you have not received your link please contact the school office. Please note there will not be any paper forms available for this process.
If you would like your child to receive the nasal flu vaccine in school please click on the link to complete an online YES consent form; however if you do not wish for your child to be vaccinated please fill in a NO form.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL COFFEE MORNING
This will be held in the Parish Centre on Friday 29th November 9.30am to 2.00pm with all proceeds going to St Andrew’s Church. There will be drinks and various refreshments and cakes. There will also be a raffle and tombola, with Christmas items, craftwork and cards for sale. Pick up some great stocking fillers whilst having a drink, breakfast or lunch with friends.
