CHURCH NEWS

From St Andrew’s

Sunday 6th November. Cafe Church at 10am in the Parish Centre. All welcome. Come and join us for a very informal worship, tea and toast. Crafts available for children.

Saturday 12th November 12pm-4pm – Christmas Fayre – come along and buy Christmas presents from the many, varied stalls. Visit Santa in his Grotto. Food and drinks available all afternoon.

From St Anne’s Beech Hill

Friday 11th November – Race Night. Starts at 7pm. £3 for adults £1.50 for children. Supper included. Pay on the door. Bring your own tipple! All welcome.

Christmas Fair – Saturday 26th November – doors open at 12pm. Fancy goods, Tombola, toys. Refreshments throughout the afternoon.

PRAYER WEEK

Can I say how lovely it was to have all the children in church for Prayer Week on Wednesday. They did a range of activities which included praying for their family and friends, pets, school, healing for those who are sick and saying sorry.

The children were all so well behaved. Y6 came with Reception, Y5 with Y1 and they helped the younger children with the activities. Thank you to all the children, to Y5 and Y6 for their help and all the staff who came along too. I hope you all enjoyed it and gained something from the experience.
