REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY
I am enclosing the following information about the Wiganparade on Sunday 13th November if you would like to go along:
The procession will leave the Town Hall inLibrary Streetat 10.30am prompt and will proceed alongLibrary Street,Rodney Street,King Street, Wallgate, King Street WestandCrawford Street to the War Memorial in All Saints’ Gardens. The two minutes silence will be observed at 11.00am preceded by the sounding of the ‘Last Post’ and ending with ‘Reveille’. Following the sounding of ‘Reveille’ the Mayor will lay a wreath on the War Memorial on behalf of the inhabitants ofWiganto be followed by representatives of the various organisations. The ceremony will be concluded with the National Anthem. The procession will then proceed into the Parish Church for the Service.
There will be no return procession to the Town Hall at the conclusion of the service, but the Wigan Combined Ex-Services Committee and the Royal British Legion have asked the Mayor if he will take the salute from a saluting base in Market Street.

SCHOOL DISCO – TUESDAY 8TH NOVEMBER
The school disco is on Tuesday 8th November.
- YR, Y1, Y2 & Y3 – 4.30pm-6.00pm.
- Y4, Y5, & Y6 – 6.30pm-8.30pm.
The cost will be £2.00 including pop and crisps. Hot dogs will be on sale from 6.30pm – price 50p.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT – WEDNESDAY 16TH NOVEMBER
We are holding a Girls Night Out on Wednesday 16th November at 7.30pm in the school hall. We have our usual selection of great stalls and you’re sure to bag a bargain. Tickets are £1.00 each which includes a free drink. A letter with more information will be sent out soon. Please try and join us.
