A WONDERFUL HARVEST SERVICE!
A big thank you from me to all our parents and friends for coming along to our Harvest Service on Tuesday. I know you thoroughly enjoyed it! Well done to our fantastic children for their fabulous singing, reading and performing. I was so proud and it really made me feel the Harvest message of thankfulness for all of you, and teachers too. My special thanks to Mrs Cavanagh (our E&D Leader) who organised it all. Brilliant!

WELL DONE MR HOBAN! EMMA HOOLIN APPEAL UPDATE
As I said at the Harvest Service: at St Andrew’s we are one big family, and when one of us does something good we celebrate it just like any family does, including the adults. So well done Mr Hoban for completing the Liverpool Marathon on Sunday in aid of the Emma Hoolin appeal – what a great role model for our children! Please keep the donations coming – wrist bands should be arriving shortly.

ST ANDREW’S SCHOOL BRASS BAND – APPEAL FOR SPONSORS
We now have a school band with currently 12 members (more are in training!) The band members are desperate for a “posh blazer for formal appearances”! We can get them from Slaters for around £20/£25 each (we will embellish them ourselves with school badge and braiding etc). We are appealing to any local businesses and/or parents who would be interested in sponsoring a blazer or making a donation to the ‘brass band blazer fund’.
Please contact Mrs Massey or Mrs Swift (School Business Manager) if you can help. “Any donation gratefully received”, say the band members.
