LATE ARRIVALS
As from Monday 4th October all pupils who arrive after registration has closed (9.00am) will have to be signed in by parents at the school office. This is due to fire regulation requirements to ensure all children are accounted for.

Unfortunately the Quiz organised for the 15th October has had to be postponed until later in the school year. This is due to the work commitments of the Quiz Master.

PARENTS’ QUESTIONNAIRE
Thank you so much to all those parents who completed the questionnaire. It always helps to get your views and then we can make changes. The responses were really positive with the only main concern being the problems we have had with the school website. We have addressed this now, and you should be able to find all the basic information on there. Please be patient with the class blogs, it takes a while for the children to complete and upload their projects, but I’m sure you agree it is definitely worth the wait. Remember that you can leave comments too.

NON-UNIFORM DAY
Thank you to everyone who made a donation in aid of Derian House Children’s Hospice. Donations are still being counted, so we will let you know the final total in the next newsletter.

GARDENING CLUB
Just a reminder that gardening club has now finished until around March/April 2011. We are still collecting the Morrisons vouchers and will order some utensils for next year. Many thanks to all who have helped in the gardening club this school year.

The school kitchen is holding an ‘Indian Theme’ meal event on Wednesday 10th November. If those children who normally bring sandwiches for their lunch would like to take part, please return the form sent home with this newsletter as soon as possible.
