FOOTBALL & RUGBY TRAINING
The last football and rugby training before the winter break will be next week. Football and rugby training will end after half term and resume again in the spring term.

TAG RUGBY TOURNAMENT
For the last rugby training session we will be having a Tag Rugby Tournament for Y3-Y6 competing for the St Andrew’s Tag Trophy. Boys and girls from Y3-Y6 just need to turn up in a games kit and trainers and we will pick teams on the night (3.15pm-4.30pm).

WIGAN ATHLETIC AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
The Wigan Athletic After School Club is now full. Thank you for your support. More information will be sent for the children involved next week.

SONGS FROM THE MUSICALS
The Wigan Gilbert & Sullivan Society will present ‘Songs from the Musicals’ in church on Friday 25th October at 7.30pm, accompanied by St Andrew’s School Choir. Tickets are available from Sharon Morris and Kath Last at church, price £5.00 per adult and £1.00 per child (or you may pay at the door). Refreshments will be provided by the social committee.

BONFIRE NIGHT WITH THE LUNCH BUNCH
On Tuesday 5th November the school kitchen is holding Bonfire Nigh Meal at a cost of £2.00. If your child normally brings sandwiches and would like to take part, please return the form sent home with this newsletter by Friday 25th October. Many thanks.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE
The Friends of St Andrew’s are holding a Christmas Fayre on Saturday 9th November. They will be having a lucky dip and have asked if parents could donate any suitable items. Please could any donations be brought to school before half term. Many thanks.
