WORLD CUP FOOTBALL DAY
To celebrate the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 we will be holding a World Cup Football Day on Thursday 4th July.
Children will need to come to school in their PE kits, sports shirts (football, rugby etc) or shorts and t-shirts. Children should wear their trainers for the football day (no boots or blades). Please ensure all children bring a water bottle and apply sun cream if necessary.

CAN YOU HELP?
School is looking for a drum kit for the children to have their lessons on. At the moment we hire one and this is becoming harder to justify. If anyone has one or knows someone that does, please contact school. Many thanks.

WATER BOTTLES
Just a reminder that children need to bring their own water bottle to school as we have very few spare bottles available.

FAMILY FUN AFTERNOON
A BIG THANKYOU to all who supported our FAMILY FUN AFTERNOON in any way.
We had a fabulous sunny day with lots of visitors enjoying the refreshments, outdoor games & activities, toddler area, craft tables, treasure hunt and teddy tombola. The intention was to offer fun and friendship to our community and it was great to see so many lovely families join us for a really nice afternoon.
Phoebe had fun selling her donated books and DVD’s and Chloe helped Grandma on the sweet stall. We had a fantastic team of helpers from church who donated their talents and much more behind the scenes in order to make the day successful.
Phoebe’s colouring competition had 4 winners in 2 age groups – Abigail aged 11 and Lacey aged 8 – and I still have the prizes for Harrison aged 5 and Amelia aged 6 – please get in touch on 07786281765. The 3 jars of sweets were won by Freya & Freddie, Laura and Joyce & Lisa (please get in touch).
51 prizes were drawn from the raffle which raised a fabulous £313 alone – Thanks go to everyone who donated items and especially to the local businesses who donated vouchers (see next church magazine for details). In total the day raised £652 – which will be split between school and church.
Thank you so much for your kind support.
(With love & thanks from Phoebe, Chloe & Tracy Sinck)
Many thanks
