MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING & CAKE SALE
Thank you to everyone who helped, took part and baked or sent cake donations for our coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer. We raised a wonderful £578.30.

BAG2SCHOOL
Your child should have brought home a bag for our next collection on Wednesday 10th October 2018 at 9.00am. Bags should be left at the Mort Street entrance gates on the day, or can be left in school before the collection day if necessary. Thank you for your continued support.

HIGH SCHOOL APPLICATION FORMS
If any parents need the high school application forms signing regarding church attendance, Vicar Tina will be in school on Monday 8th October at 3.15pm.

CHURCH NEWS
During October we will have craft activities on the table in church. These dates are 14th October which will be family all age worship. On the 21st October we will celebrate Harvest Festival in church when all St Andrew’s Church family will join together on this occasion. We will next have Andy’s Kids in the Parish Centre on 28th October. The dates therefore for this term are as follows:-
- 7th October (Café Church)
- 14th October (Craft table in church) – Harvest
- 28th October (Andy’s Kids in Parish Centre)
- 4th November (Café Church)
- 11th November (Craft table in church)
- 18th November (Andy’s Kids in Parish Centre)
- 25th November (Andy’s Kids in Parish Centre)
- 2nd December (Café Church)
- 9th December (Craft table in church)
- 16th December ( Andy’s Kids in Parish Centre)
- 23rd December (Andy’s Kids in Parish Centre)
Our Harvest Festival Celebrations will take place on Sunday 21st October 2018 at our 10.00 am morning worship service. This will include all our church family as we thank God for the Harvest and all the good things he has given us. We have decided that our Harvest gifts can be either monetary gifts or gifts of tinned goods or non-perishables. Any monetary gifts will be sent to USPG to be used in their Rapid Relief fund. This is a fund which helps people in countries where there has been flooding, landslide or other natural disaster. Alternatively if you wish to bring food gifts, then these will be donated to The Brick project.
BREAKFAST COFFEE MORNINGS IN ST ANDREW’S PARISH CENTRE
If you enjoyed our Macmillan Coffee morning, you may like to know that there is a Coffee Morning every month (except December) in the Parish Centre supporting a different charity each month. You can enjoy tea, coffee, toasties, teacakes etc., a raffle and chocolate tombola.
The next one will be held on Friday 26th October 10am –12 noon in aid of MIND and then the final one for this year will be in aid of St Andrew’s Church and is on Friday 30th November.
