WIGAN ST ANDREW’S CE PRIMARY SCHOOL

NEWSLETTER 29

Have a Wonderful Summer, see you in September!

This year has really flown, and I have so much to say thank you for as the headteacher of St Andrew’s School! The children really are a credit to you; their parents and carers.

Over the year we have seen superb dedication on the sports field and many of our children have represented St Andrew’s in inter-school competitions including Rugby, Football (where we came 2nd place overall in the league!), and Wigan Schools’ Town Sports (where we achieved 1st place overall for Year 6 girls) A big thank you to our parents – Mr Daly and Mr Ingram for their hard work and dedication to the school rugby team.

Our fantastic choir achieved a highly commended at Wigan Schools Choir Festival, and they can currently be heard on stage supporting our Year 6 children in their fantastic production of Grease. I’m sure that everyone who came along last night will agree that the children performed brilliantly and with such happy confidence that we are sure they are destined for great success in the future.

They have all promised to come back and see us as they travel on their journey through high school.

On behalf of all the children and staff of St Andrew’s School we would like to thank you all for your support over this past year, and wish you a wonderful summer. See you in September.

Very best wishes.

(Mrs Massey)
