END OF TERM

School closes at 1.00pm on Tuesday 17^th July.  Please make the necessary arrangements to collect your child at this earlier time.  School re-opens for the new school year on Tuesday 4^th September.

TOY DAY – MONDAY 16^TH JULY

We are having a toy day on Monday 16^th July.  Children may bring a toy to play with (but please not one with lots of parts as they may get lost).  Also no phones, tablets or iPods please.

HEALTH & SAFETY – EAR PIERCING

Just to remind parents that if your child is having their ears pierced during the summer holidays it would be better to have this done as early as possible to avoid any problems with removing earrings in school, e.g. during PE sessions etc. Many thanks.

PLAY, STAY & EAT

This is a summer initiative organised by the Wigan churches ‘Central Hub’ for families. It will be held on Tuesday and Wednesdays during the summer holidays at St Anne’s Community Centre, Beech Hill, 11.00am – 2.00pm.

‘Fur Clemt’ will provide food and there will also be a ‘Food Boutique’ with food items sold on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis. There will be crafts, a play area for younger children and outdoor games, weather permitting.

Parents will stay and be responsible for their children, so we need volunteers to help with serving food, prepared crafts, games etc.

The Play, Stay & Eat dates are:-

JULY – 18^th, 24^th, 25^th & 31^st.       AUGUST – 1^st, 7^th, 8^th, 14^th, 15^th, 21^st, 22^nd, 28^th & 29^th.
