ANDY’S SINGING STARS

Year 5 attended the ‘Wigan Schools Choir Festival’ yesterday.  They performed three songs in front of two adjudicators and were one of only two schools to be awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ for their performance.  I am immensely proud of them and wanted to share some of the adjudicators’ comments:

Great use of talented soloists.”

“Great harmonies in the duet.”

“The choir makes a really warm sound and copes well with harmonies.”

“Slick choreography that didn’t hinder beautiful harmonies.”

Congratulations to all the soloists – great to hear and see such talent – just perfect tone for this pop song.”

“Thank you so much – what a great performance!  Well done!”

We are having a toy day on Thursday 16th July.  Children may bring a toy to play with (but please not one with lots of parts as they may get lost).
