UPDATE ON MRS MASSEY
Can I say thank you on behalf of Mrs Massey and everyone at St Andrew’s for the cards and kind get well wishes we have received from everyone.
I am delighted to report that Mrs Massey is out of hospital and is recuperating well at home with her family.
She is hoping to visit school next term to see the children, who she has missed greatly.
Can I thank Miss Taylor in her capacity as Acting Head Teacher, Mrs Preston the Assistant Head and all the staff for their hard work during this difficult time. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

EASTER HOLIDAYS
School finishes today for the Easter break. We return to school on Tuesday 23rd April.

EASTER SERVICE
Thank you to Mr and Mrs Hoban, all the staff but especially the children for a wonderful Easter Celebration in church on Tuesday. It was wonderful, with brilliant readers and the singing was amazing. The behaviour of the children was also excellent as usual, something Vicar Tina commented on. Thank you again children and have a very Happy Easter.

CHOCOLATE BINGO – A BIG THANK YOU!
Thank you to everyone who came along to support the school on our chocolate bingo night. We raised a wonderful £1,009.41 towards school funds! A big thank you to all organisers and helpers, and a special mention to Kath Knowles who provided many of the prizes.

EASTER SERVICES AT ST ANDREW’S CHURCH
Palm Sunday – 14th April – 10am – Holy Communion with craft table for children ‘ Palm crafts’.
Maundy Thursday – 18th April – 7pm.
Good Friday – 19th April – 10am – craft table for children – ‘Cross and Crown’ crafts.
Easter Sunday – 21st April- 10am – Holy Communion with craft table for children – Easter cards.

SCHOOL SWIMMING LESSONS
Just a reminder that Year 4 and a group of Y5 children will be going swimming on the first day back after the Easter break (Tuesday 23rd April). Due to rising costs we are asking for a £3.00 contribution towards the provision of this service. Many thanks for your support.
