Just a reminder that school will be closed on the following dates:

Monday 1^st May 2017 – Bank Holiday

Thursday 4^th May 2017 – Mayoral Elections

Thursday 8^th June 2017 – General Election

MRS PRESTON AND MISS TAYLOR RAISING FUNDS FOR SCHOOL – HOW TO SUPPORT THEM

A few weeks ago I wrote to you with the news that these two members of staff are about to take on special challenges in order to raise much-needed funds for our school. Mrs Preston is going to do a tandem sky-dive and Miss Taylor is doing the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere.

Many schools as you know are in the same position as us due to government spending cuts, and you will remember our Chair of Governors letter to you about this in March.

I am overwhelmed with the support that we have already received from some very kind and generous parents and want to say a huge thank you to those who have donated so far.
