THANK YOU
All staff would like to thank you for your help this week. We appreciate that many of you have avoided bringing cars down Mort Street and First Avenue, making it much safer for us all.
We would also like to thank Mr Moon, our wonderful caretaker, for his hard work ensuring the school site has remained accessible and safe for us all despite the adverse weather conditions.

KEEPING YOUR CHILDREN SAFE AT HOME TIME
Please help us to keep your children safe at home time.
Only parents/a designated adult are allowed to collect their child.
Please do not send siblings from other year groups to collect their brothers and sisters; staff need to ensure that a designated adult is present. It is very difficult to dismiss the children safely when large numbers of siblings are crowding the doors and calling out for their brothers and sisters.
We really appreciate that parents of Year 5 and Year 6 pupils tend to stand back and allow parents of younger pupils to wait nearer the exit doors. This is a great help and allows us to identify parents more easily- thank you!
We also ask that parents of Year 1 and Year 2 pupils, who do not have siblings in the juniors, wait on the decking area to avoid congestion near the main entrance. We appreciate this may not be possible for parents who need to bring prams.
As a Victorian school, we know the layout is not ideal for dismissal at home time. We appreciate your help in keeping your children safe.
