Well done to the brilliant Y4 girls (and our Y3 and Y2 superstars Freya and Maisie) who played superbly in the Wigan Schools Football competition on Wednesday 14th March. The girls finished 2nd in their group and then won the 3rd place play off with 2 great goals from Ava K.
You thoroughly deserve your medals girls – you were excellent! Well played Evie, Leah, Ava, Ava, Lydia, Freya and Maisie #standrewssuperstars.

Well done to the Football Team who battled to a great 1-0 victory against Sacred Heart on a very difficult pitch last night (Thursday 15th March). A solid defensive performance enabled St Andrew’s to take maximum points from the game following Callum M’s excellent finish past the on rushing Sacred Heart goalkeeper.
Well played Team – a solid all round performance and played with excellent attitude.

ST ANDREW’S CHURCH – YOUTH GROUP – THIS SATURDAY
This new group for 9yrs-13yrs is now up and running on the 3rd Saturday of each month in St Andrew’s Parish Centre between 3pm and 5pm.
Members have now created a new name – ‘X-PLOSION’.
We will be relaxing, chatting and having fun together with friends doing various activities with opportunities to sing and pray. This month’s theme is Lent & Easter.
The first two sessions were thoroughly enjoyed by those who came. And lots of friendships have been formed. The children loved playing the games and becoming involved in discussions, prayers and singing.
Registration forms can be completed on arrival. We ask for £1.00 entry per child towards costs.
The next dates are: Saturdays 17th March, 21st April and 12th May (note this is week 2 due to all volunteers attending a Church weekend away). Hope to see you there! Any questions – contact Tracy Sinck on 07786281765.
