WIGAN ST ANDREW’S CE PRIMARY SCHOOL

NEWSLETTER 17

A VERY BIG THANK YOU!

Well done to everyone for your efforts at our British Heart Foundation event.  We raised £329.30 and have divided the proceeds between BHF and our defibrillator appeal.

We were overwhelmed by the generosity of one family in particular; Sam and Isaac’s grandad, Mr Steven Ashton, who donated £100 towards the defibrillator appeal.  Thank you from all the staff and pupils at St Andrew’s!

Our next event, as you know, will be Sport Relief on Friday 14th March.  We will be donating half of the proceeds again to the defibrillator appeal and half to Sport Relief.  Hopefully every school in the country will soon have this vital piece of life saving equipment!

KS2 PARENTS & CARERS – IMPORTANT SECURITY MESSAGE

When arriving in the mornings, please do not try to approach staff via the junior door playground.  Please give any messages for teachers to Mrs Swift in the office.  Also may I remind you that the gates are locked at 9.00am promptly, and late arrivals must sign in at the office.

These procedures are in place for safeguarding reasons and we are very grateful for your support and understanding.  Many thanks.
