CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES
On behalf of all the Governors, can I say a big thank you to all the children and teachers for the wonderful KS1 and KS2 Christmas performances.
It never ceases to amaze me how much the children can do from such a young age. They all sang and joined in and looked like they were having so much fun.
Then you see how much progress they have made in KS2. It’s a more grown up performance but still wonderful, uplifting and fun for the children with amazing singing. They follow the Harvest Service, a celebration in music and song and our St Andrew’s Day Service, both of which were brilliant.
Thank you to the teachers for working so hard with the children and a special thank you and well done to all the children. You have really put us in the mood for Christmas and have given us a wonderful Christmas message. Thank you.

ST ANDREW’S CHURCH NEWS
St Andrew’s Parochial Church Council is delighted to announce that The Revd Tina Nicholson (at present Curate at Hindley Green St John in the Diocese of Liverpool) has accepted the appointment of Team Vicar within the All Saints Wigan Team with special responsibility for St Andrew’s, Wigan and St Anne’s Beech Hill.

Y5 Brass Concert with Y6 School Band |
Monday 14th December in School at 10.00am. All Y5 parents and carers are invited. All Y6 parents and carers whose children are in the school band are also invited. |
| KS2 Christmas Cinema Trip | Wednesday 16th December in the morning. It is school uniform as usual and the children do not need any money. |
| KS1 Christmas Party | Wednesday 16th December in the morning.?? Children should come to school in their party clothes. |
| Toy Day | Thursday 17th December. |
| Wear a Christmas Jumper Day | Friday 18th December. Children may come to school in their Christmas jumpers and bring a donation. |
| End of Term | Friday 18th December at 1.00pm. Please make the necessary arrangements to collect your child at this earlier time. School will return on Tuesday 5th January 2016. |
WIGAN & LEIGH HOSPICE CHRISTMAS NOVELTIES
We have a few Christmas Bears left to sell on behalf of Wigan & Leigh Hospice at a cost of £2.00.
