CHRISTINGLE
Our Christingle service this year will take place on Sunday 4th February at 10.00am in Café Church in the Parish Centre. We will also be presenting a ‘Christingle Experience’ for all children in St Andrew’s School on Wednesday 7th February.
The most expensive part of organising a Christingle service is the purchase of the oranges and sweets. As we will be presenting Christingle to the whole school, we will need an orange for each child. If there is anyone who is able to make a donation to help with this, please hand it in at the school office.

Just to let you know that our next Bag2School collection will take place on Thursday 19th April 2018.

FRIDAY NIGHT IS HAIR CHECK NIGHT!
We have recently received a number of reports from parents that their child has had to be treated for head lice. This is not a new problem of course, indeed it is one which is affecting all schools in the Borough and is one which the local Health Authority is trying to address. However it is one which can, with proper treatment and after-care, be controlled quite easily.
We are asking parents therefore to be very watchful for any signs that their child may have a problem of this kind, to report any outbreak to school and to seek advice and treatment immediately. Treatment is available at your local chemist free of charge (just ask at the counter). Please see the information from NHS Choices sent home with this newsletter for further information. Many thanks
