School finishes on Friday 19th December at the earlier time of 1.00pm. Please make the necessary arrangements to collect your child at this earlier time. School will return on Tuesday 6th January 2015.

CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES
On behalf of the Governors can I say well done and congratulations to KS1 and KS2 pupils for their wonderful performances. You were all fantastic and should be very proud of yourselves. Many thanks to all the teachers involved both in front or behind the scenes.
Thank you to those who supported our raffle prior to the KS1 performances, either by donating prizes or buying tickets. We raised £170.00. A special thank you to my Y6 pupil helpers, you were brilliant!! Thank you and Merry Christmas.

CHRISTMAS OUTINGS & PARTIES
Key Stage 2 children are going to the cinema on Wednesday17h December in school time. It is uniform as usual and the children do not need any money.
Key Stage 1 will be having their Christmas party on Wednesday 17th December in the afternoon. On that day the children will come in their party clothes.

TOY DAY – THURSDAY 18TH DECEMBER
We are having a Toy Day on Thursday 18th December. On that day children may come in Christmas clothes or onesies and make a donation.
Children may bring a toy to play with (but please not one with lots of parts as they may get lost). Please try to avoid sending in expensive toys if possible, but if your child does bring anything expensive, please be aware they are responsible for them.

CHRISTMAS SPARKLE CAROL CONCERT
As you may remember from last year, one of our mums runs a music academy called Smiths Academy. Following the great success last year they are hosting another evening this year of Christmas songs and carols at the Wigan Parish Church at 7.00pm on Thursday 18th December. Tickets are £5.00 adult, £3.00 per child, with 40% profit going to Marie Curie. Tickets are available on 07814 193335 or at www.smithsacademy.co.uk.

Sunday 21st December 6.00pm – Service of carols and readings followed by mince pies and sherry.
Christmas Eve 6.00pm – Crib Service
11.30pm – Midnight Eucharist.
Christmas Day 10.00am – Holy Communion.
Epiphany – Sunday 4th January 9.00am – Holy Communion.
10.30am Service of the Word.
