PARENT GOVERNOR ELECTION

I am pleased to inform you that following the ballot for the election of Parent Governor, Mrs Jayne Donnellan has attracted the most votes, and is duly elected to serve for a four year term.  Thank you to those parents who declared an interest by voting.

After school clubs shall be resuming from the week commencing 13th September 2010.  The following activities are available, however places are limited:-

To register your child’s interest in any of the after school activities please ask your child to contact the activity co-ordinator, Mrs Rooks or Mr Sharkey.  Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Thank you.

PE & GAMES

All children (except those attending swimming) need to have their PE bags containing shorts, T-shirts and pumps in school.  They will bring them home at half term and end of terms.

PTFA

The Annual General Meeting of the PTFA is on Tuesday 7th September in school at 3.30pm.  Everyone is welcome.

 The PTFA raise funds for many extra things in school.  Over the last 12 months they have helped us purchase:

  • New benches for the KS1 playground.
  • Staging for the hall.
  • Provided the funds for activities and presents at Christmas.
  • Cameras for the Y6 leavers.

The PTFA long term project is to raise funds for adventure playground equipment which will benefit all the children.  Please try and come along to our meeting.
