NEWSLETTER FRIDAY 13/10/23

SAVE ST ANDREW’S CHURCH

As a result of the ‘Right Buildings’ review, St. Andrew’s Church is one of fifteen churches at risk of closure. Do you think you might be in a position to help, either financially or by attending church sometimes?

Another way you can help is by sharing why you think it is important to keep our church open for the spiritual development of your child/children. What impact do you think the closure of the church would have on them?

You can email your thoughts to: jhoban@wiganstandrews.net

I will pass on your concerns to the review panel. Alternatively, you can email them directly: rightbuildings@churchwigan.org

THE PARISH GIVING SCHEME

A lot of us support charities/causes we are passionate about. If you are passionate about the future of St Andrew’s Church and are in a position to help, no matter how small the amount, it will make a difference.

Please find the details below:

Visit website: parishgiving.org.uk
Enter Parish code: 220622254
Select: ‘Regular Giving’ or ‘One-off gift
Register: Complete the online form to create your account
Gift Aid: If you pay tax you can gift aid your donation, meaning more money for the church.

Collectively, I believe we can save our church. Many thanks

WET PLAYTIME

With the wetter weather coming more often it would be very helpful ifparents could send in colouring books and pens/pencils for your child to keep them occupied during wet playtimes.  Many thanks for your support.

EVOLVE PARENT PAY

As there are a number of KS1 children still ordering their school meals in class, this is just another reminder that meals now need to be ordered before 9.30am from home in both KS1 and KS2 so please ensure you order your child’s meal each day/week in advance.

If you require parent guides or activation codes, these are available from the school office so please ensure you set up your account as soon as possible.

For anyone who has an outstanding school meals balance from last term, these have now been added to your Evolve account and can be found in Primary Shop under Miscellaneous.

Many thanks.

THE LIGHT PARTY

This event is being run by Church.  Any donations from parents would be most welcome.

Many thanks
