NEWSLETTER FRIDAY 6/10/23

MACMILLAN COFFEE AFTERNOON

Thank you so much for all your kind donations for our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon, we raised a massive £441.00.

Our competition was held, all children who entered either took a colouring sheet home or completed it in class.  Well done to our winners – it was a hard decision!

BREAKFAST CLUB

Places are very limited for breakfast club so can I ask anyone wanting places to please book in with me.  It is so important that we have enough staff to cover.  Many thanks.

CAFE CHURCH

Please join us this Sunday from 9.30am for a 10am start in the Parish Centre for our Cafe Church. Enjoy a less formal worship with tea, coffee and toast. There are crafts for children too. Everyone welcome.

GUIDE BINGO NIGHT

The Guides will be holding another one of their very popular Bingo Nights in the Parish Centre on Friday 27th October at 7.15pm to raise funds for the levy and guide funds. Bingo tickets are sold per book of at least 8 games. Prizes for ‘lines’ & ‘houses’. There will be a raffle and refreshments will be available at a small cost. Please join us if you can – free entry.

WARM SPACE

We will be opening up the Parish Centre again this winter for ‘Warm Spaces’ every Wednesday afternoon from 12pm-3pm from 4th October. You can arrive/leave at any time and there is no charge. Food is also available. Join us for a cuppa and a chat.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE

This will be held in church and the Parish Centre on Saturday 11th November 10am – 2pm. There will be refreshments in the Parish Centre through the day. There are various stalls, tombola’s and a raffle and of course Thomas the Tank!! If anyone can help with setting up on Friday or can help on a stall, please contact Jean Moss on 01942 741499.
