KS2 CHILDREN’S PLAYGROUND – IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDING MEASURES
Could we respectfully remind parents NOT to go down onto the KS2 playground in the mornings? There is always a member of staff on duty from 8.45am onwards but we don’t always recognise everyone as parents and carers of St Andrew’s children. Therefore for security purposes, please allow your children to go onto the KS2 playground by themselves.
If you have a child in KS1, and you are coming up Mort Street, the door on the right of the main entrance is open in the morning for KS1 children, so no need to walk round the back of the school.
At the end of the school day you are welcome to use the KS2 playground as access to KS1 and Reception class because we don’t open the KS1 front door (this is because it is much safer to hand children over to parents from one exit rather than two).
All our arrangements are in place because we want to provide maximum security and keep our St Andrew’s boys and girls safe. Thank you very much for your patience and co-operation in this matter. I appreciate it very much.

SCHOOL HARVEST FESTIVAL – MONDAY 12TH OCTOBER AT 2.00PM
Just a reminder that it is our school harvest festival in church on Monday at 2.00pm. The children will be taking any donations they have brought for ‘The Brick’. Please join us if you can for this singing celebration.

WIGAN ATHLETIC AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
There will be no session on Thursday 15th October due to parents evening. The last session will be held on Thursday 22nd October.

HIGH SCHOOL APPLICATION FORMS
If any parents need the high school application forms signing regarding church attendance, this can be done any Sunday after the service (please see Sandra Cullen).
