RESPECT WEEK
Next week (5th-9th March) is Respect Week. During the week we will be doing a number of different activities. On Tuesday and Friday all children will need to make sure they have their PE kit in school. Children who have made a respect poster please bring them in on Monday morning.

QUIZ NIGHT
St Andrew’s Church Social Committee are holding a Quiz Night on Friday 16th March at Sacred Heart Parish Centre (Throstlenest Avenue) at 7.15pm for a 7.45pm start. Tickets priced at £2.00 (which include light refreshments) are available from Janet Moss (01942 512675) or Jean Moss (01942 741499). Teams of no more than 6 persons.

BEDDING PLANT BONANZA
Yes it’s that time again!! Your child should have brought home an order form this week. We have been able to keep prices the same as last year. Last year we raised over £300.
I would like to bring to your attention the information detailed below that I received from Halman’s Nursery with this years order form.
“May we draw your attention to the problems experienced nationally, by many gardeners, with Impatiens (Bizzy Lizzy’s). They are prone to a disease called Impatiens Downy Mildew, which is specific to Impatiens. This problem is now widespread and there is nothing that production nurseries can do to guarantee the eventual performance of the plants once they leave the nursery. All of our plants will receive preventative chemical treatments prior to leaving our nursery, but regrettably once the plants have left us the eventual quality must become the responsibility of our customers.”

DEANERY H S BAZAAR
This will take place on Saturday 17th March at theDeaneryHigh School. Our church will be having our usual stall and would appreciate any donations of tombola prizes or money to purchase cheese and wine. There are boxes at the back of church for any prizes. Thank you.
