We were lucky enough to be invited to participate in a Sustainability Project organised by Mr. Blackledge and Latics Community Trust. Four girls from Y5 have been working incredibly hard on this project for the last few months. Their idea was to promote litter picking in school and around the community. Today they presented their idea in front of a panel of judges and a room full of children and adults from seven other schools. Our St. Andrew’s girls were incredible to stand up in front of such a large audience and myself and all of St. Andrew’s are immensely proud of them.

We were lucky enough to receive a stadium tour as part of our visit, we saw the changing rooms, the tunnel onto the pitch, many trophies and the Phoenix lounge.

Well done girls, you were amazing today!
