This morning in Whole School Worship we talked about Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week. We discussed what ‘being connected’ means to us. Whether it’s finding new friends, sticking together, playing games with our friends and talking with friends. We also talked about how we can connect over the internet and also by playing different sports to connect with other people.

We can also connect by smiling at each other, waving or by using our body language as well.
We listened to a poem called ‘Together’ by Matt Goodfellow and talked about what it means to us.
It is also important that we connect with each other when something sad happens or when we need help from others. If you see someone who is feeling sad or lonely, you could try to connect with them to help to make them feel better.
