This morning in Whole School Worship we talked about our Christian Value for this half term, Peace.

We enjoyed letting our light shine by singing and joining in with the actions to our song, ‘This Little Light of Mine’.

Mrs Hoban told us about the prophets who had told the people 2,000 years ago that a Saviour, a Special Holy One, a Messiah was coming to save them. The people were expecting a mighty warrior to come and save them from the Romans. They were not expecting a baby. But baby Jesus was the Light that was sent by God to change the world with love. God did not want to send an army to fight the Romans, He wanted to light up the world with love. Jesus is the Light of the World.
