HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION FOR Y4/Y5 PUPILS
Mr Martin Wood, the Headteacher of the Deanery High School addressed the last Deanery Synod to talk about the school and to explain the application process. The school is fully inclusive yet also wants to enable pupils to go to church to benefit from an education in a Christian, faith-affirming environment, very much like us here at St Andrew’s.
To qualify the applicant must attend church the equivalent of once a month for a year, or 12 times the previous year. Attendance must reflect the child’s own church-going as opposed to that of a parent or carer and can be at any worshipping community recognised by Churches Together (Britain & Ireland).
We have many varied services at St Andrew’s Church, and everyone is always welcome.
TUESDAY 7PM – Eucharist
SUNDAY SERVICES – All at 10am in church unless otherwise stated –
IST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH – Eucharist Service
2ND SUNDAY OF THE MONTH – All ages Cafe Church (in the Parish Centre)
3RD SUNDAY OF THE MONTH – Service of the Word
4TH SUNDAY OF THE MONTH – Service of the Word and also
– Andy’s Kids & Family Cafe Church (in the Parish Centre)
5TH SUNDAY OF THE MONTH – Eucharist Service at one of our Hub Churches (see Church Facebook for details)
Our Andy’s Kids and Family Cafe Church is a casual approach to the Christian way of life, involving crafts, screen time and breakfast. It is especially for children and families and is very popular.
If you wish to attend any of the services in the Parish Centre, please contact Meg on 01942 237575 or 07833 613704.
There is no need to book in for the services held in church.

Many thanks
