CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Following further advice from the Government we wish to clarify the position on the coronavirus and pupils in school. Below is the revised guidance, and unless these symptoms are present then we expect pupils to be in school as normal. The advice only applies to the person displaying symptoms, not the household for now.
School is currently preparing in the eventuality that if we are forced to close to enable learning to still take place at home. Further information will follow on this if/when it becomes necessary.
What to do if you have symptoms
Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:
- a high temperature
- a new continuous cough
This will help to protect others in your community while you are infectious.
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact NHS 111 to tell them you are staying at home.
