NEWSLETTER 15

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

What a fantastic end to the autumn term we have had!  The Christmas Nativities were amazing and your children really are a credit to you!  Thank you for your lovely comments that you wrote after the performances.  As promised, we read them out to the children during assembly and they were thrilled. I hope you have a lovely Christmas with your families and a wonderful 2020!  God bless you.

CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES

Thank you to Mr and Mrs Hoban and all the staff and children for the amazing Christmas Performances, what talent we have at St Andrew’s School. The church was filled with wonderful singing for the KS2 performance. A mix of modern, traditional, old and new, and humour to tell the story of Christmas in rhyme. Brilliant narrating. We were also entertained by our talented school band.

The KS1 performance was narrated brilliantly and the singing and dancing tremendous. I know the production is very much a KS1 staff team effort, so thank you all. It is hard to believe that our reception children have only been in school a matter of weeks.

Amazing singing, narrating and storytelling in both performances, thank you so much to all the children, you make me so proud to be a Governor at St Andrew’s.

May I take this opportunity to wish all the staff, children and families a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

(J Donnellan)
