NASAL FLU VACCINATIONS – WEDNESDAY 27TH NOVEMBER 2019

The nasal flu process this year can be consented online via a link.

The link has been sent out this week via email.  Therefore, it is important that you have completed and returned the form previously sent home to provide a current email address for this purpose.  Please note there will not be any paper forms available for this process.

Please look out for the email link (check junk folders also just in case).  If you have not received your link please contact the school office.

If you would like your child to receive the nasal flu vaccine in school please click on the link to complete an online YES consent form; however if you do not wish for your child to be vaccinated please fill in a NO form.

Many thanks

FRIDAY NIGHT IS HAIR CHECK NIGHT!

We have recently received a number of reports from parents that their child has had to be treated for head lice. This is not a new problem of course, indeed it is one which is affecting all schools in the Borough and is one which the local Health Authority is trying to address.   However it is one which can, with proper treatment and after-care, be controlled quite easily.

We are asking parents therefore to be very watchful for any signs that their child may have a problem of this kind, to report any outbreak to school and to seek advice and treatment immediately.  Treatment is available at your local chemist free of charge (just ask at the counter).  Many thanks.
