PARENT GOVERNOR ELECTION

I am pleased to inform you that following the recent parent governor election, Kate Darbyshire and Jayne Baker have been appointed to St Andrew’s Governing Body.

May I thank Anita Taulty and Jennifer Liptrot, the two other candidates who were unsuccessful on this occasion.

I would like to welcome Kate and Jayne and to thank them both. They will be introduced to our other governors next week at the full governing body meeting.

SPORTS DAY

Sports Day will be held on Friday 26th June (weather permitting).

Key Stage 1 – 9.30am-11.00am (the gate will be opened at 9.15am.

 

Key Stage 2 – 1.30pm-3.00pm (the gate will be opened at 1.15pm).

All children should attend school in their PE kits on the day. Please can you ensure that your child brings a water bottle and wears a hat and sun cream if necessary.

In order to ensure a safe and successful sports day, we ask all spectators:

 

  • To stay behind the blue line and cones in the central area.
  • Do not cross the track or go around the track.
  • Stay in their seats until all children are safely back in school.

 

KS2 spectators may collect their children (and any KS1 children) from the normal KS2 exit.

RUGBY & FOOTBALL TRAINING

Week commencing 22nd June 2015 will be the last session for football and rugby training.

BRING A TIN TO SCHOOL DAY

St Andrew’s will be taking part in the ‘Bring a Tin to School Day’ in support of The Brick charity who provides food parcels for families who are in financial hardship. If you have any tinned food which you would like to donate, please bring them to school by Friday 26th June 2015. Many thanks.
