Dear Parents and Carers,

It has come to our attention that yet again pupils have been using the internet to communicate unkind messages and profane language.

Whilst we cannot govern matters occurring out of school hours, we will take action if a problem involves a safeguarding issue (in which case parents and possibly social services and police will be informed).

In most cases, we can only ask for your support and strongly urge you to monitor your child’s internet activity whilst we do our part at school through constantly educating pupils about sensible internet use.

We are working with the community police service who will be coming into school to speak to the children, but in the meantime please be vigilant.
