OUR HARVEST CELEBRATION IN CHURCH
On Tuesday 3rd of October, we will be making our way over to church for our Harvest Celebration. We hope to start our celebration at about 9:15am. If any of you would like to join us, you can make your way over to church after dropping your child/ children at school. If you would like to make a suitable donation that we can pass on to our local food bank (tinned/ dried foods, toiletries etc.), the children can bring them into school on the morning of our celebration. Hopefully, we can fill our wonderful church with ‘Thankfulness’ which is our Christian value for this half term.

HEAD LICE
Although head lice is not a new problem it is one which is affecting all schools in the Borough and is one which the local Health Authority is trying to address. However, it is one which can, with proper treatment and after-care, be controlled quite easily. Of course it does not always apply that children have “caught” head lice from someone else at school but as you can imagine when children are working closely together as they would be in school it does not take long for the problem to spread from the infected child to others.
I am asking parents therefore to be very watchful for any signs that their child may have a problem of this kind, to report any outbreak to school and to seek advice and treatment immediately. Daily investigation and prompt action does go a long way to solving this problem. Many thanks.
