SCHOOL DISCO

WIGAN DEANERY MOTHERS’ UNION – CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL

Wigan Deanery Mothers’ Union invites you to their Christmas Tree Festival at St Andrew’s Church to celebrate 120 years of Mothers’ Union in the Liverpool Diocese.  Admission £1.00.

            Friday 10th December       –  10.00am-4.30pm

            Saturday 11th December  –  10.00am-4.30pm

            Sunday 12th December    –   1.00-3.00pm                                                      

LUNCH BUNCH CHRISTMAS MEAL

The Lunch Bunch Christmas Meal will be held on Thursday 9th December at a cost of £1.85.  If those children who normally bring sandwiches for their lunch would like to take part please return the form sent home with this newsletter as soon as possible.  Many thanks.

WIGAN BENEFITS SECTION – DO IT TODAY, THE EASY WAY

You can now claim housing benefit, council tax benefit and free school meals online.  If you are already claiming benefit you can report any changes in your circumstances online as well.  There are other forms too.  Just visit www.wigan.gov.uk and click on “Apply for it” and then “benefits”.

If you don’t have access to the internet help is available for free at the boroughs libraries and Life Centres.  Wigan & Leigh Housing tenants can get help completing their forms through any of the local housing offices
