SEAL

SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning)

What is SEAL?

SEAL is a comprehensive, whole-school approach to teaching the social and emotional skills that children need to learn effectively. Through group work, circle time activities, games and role play, children’s happiness, confidence, understanding of themselves, their feelings and their relationships are explored and enhanced.

During the year seven topics are covered. These are;-

  •     New Beginnings

  •     Getting On and Falling Out

  •     Say No To Bullying

  •     Going for Goals

  •     Good to be Me

  •     Relationships

  •     Changes

Over the year we will introduce activities to do at home. Some of these will be best done together with an adult. We hope you will enjoy doing these with your family.
