HARVEST CELEBRATION

Our Harvest Celebration takes place next Tuesday (10th October) in church at 9.15am.  We will be celebrating this term’s value of ‘Thankfulness’.  As always, we will be remembering those less fortunate than ourselves and will once again be supporting ‘The Brick Project’.  If you would like to donate, please send in items from the list below on Tuesday morning:

  • Tinned Meat & Fish (e.g. Minced Beef, Meatballs, Corned Beef, Ham, Tuna)
  • Cereal (preferably porridge sachets or Weetabix or smaller boxes of cereal)
  • Tinned Potatoes
  • Tinned Beans, Soup, Tomatoes and Vegetables
  • Packet/Quick Meals (e.g. Pasta ‘n’ Sauce, Pot Noodles, Microwavable Rice)
  • Tinned Desserts (e.g. Rice Pudding, Custard, Fruit)
  • Snacks (e.g. Biscuits, Crisps, Sweets)
  • Toiletries (e.g. Shampoo, Shower Gel, Deodorant, Toothpaste, Toilet Tissue).

Many thanks

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING & CAKE-OFF!

Thank you to everyone who helped, took part and baked or sent cake donations for our coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer. We raised a wonderful £418.90.

Congratulations to Jessica Liptrot (Y5) and Tracy Sinck, the winners of our St Andrew’s Cake Off. Although all the entries tasted great!

We still have a number of plates and containers which need to be claimed. Please ask at the school office.

We also have a number of raffle prizes which still need to be claimed. If you have one of the following ticket numbers, please claim your prize from Mrs Swift in the school office.

PTA – FRIENDS OF ST ANDREW’S

Please join us for our re-scheduled meeting next Tuesday (10th October) at 3.30pm in the KS2 open area.  It will be a chance to see what we do, what fund raising events we have planned and meet members of the team.  Our meetings are very low-key and everyone is welcome, and we are very open to new fundraising ideas.

If you would like to become involved, but cannot make the meeting, please email or text me with your name and email address and I can send you copy minutes. Jaynedonnellan64@sky.com  or 07846878836.
