WIGAN ST ANDREW’S CE PRIMARY SCHOOL
WORLD’S BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING & CAKE-OFF! (MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT)
On Friday 29th September we are joining in with the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. We are asking parents and carers to donate or bake themselves their favourite cakes.
Parents and carers please come and join us from 9.15am-10.30am in the school hall at a cost of £2.00 for coffee and a cake. Children will be able to buy a cake and drink for £1.00.
This year we are also holding a ‘St Andrew’s Cake-Off’ and are asking anyone who wishes to take part to bake a cake or cakes of their choice. Our judges will decide whose cake is the tastiest, and the winner will receive a prize. If you would like to register please sign up at the school office.
Good luck and thank you for your support.
Your child should have brought home a bag for our next collection on Friday 6th October 2017 at 9.00am. Bags should be left at the Mort Street entrance gates on the day, or can be left in school before the collection day if necessary. Thank you for your continued support.
HARVEST CELEBRATION – THANKFULNESS
Our Christian value for this half term is ‘Thankfulness’. We have been celebrating all the things that we are thankful for in worship and thinking of those less fortunate than ourselves.
Our Harvest Celebration will be on Tuesday 10th October at 9.15am in church. A celebration of thankfulness to which you are all welcome. Please come and join us if you can.
